GA-ASI Is Leading the CCA Revolution

Maker of the Predator® and Reaper®, GA-ASI is revolutionizing unmanned aircraft once more with its new collaborative combat aircraft. This next-generation aircraft builds on a record of more than 8 million flight hours, 1,100+ proven aircraft, 30+ years of innovation, and the success of two jet types flying today. It’s a force multiplier that will partner with warfighters in the air to see first and act first, delivering a decisive edge in battlespace awareness while saving pilots’ lives.

In October of 1983, members of the People’s Revolutionary Army in Grenada woke up to face an invasion force of over 7,000 United States troops turning the Caribbean island into an unlikely Cold War battleground.

President Ronald Reagan cited American students under martial law, Soviet-sponsored militarization and the construction of a 10,000 foot runway as the justifications for the invasion.

It was one of the few times in recent history that U.S. troops were sent on a combat mission in their own hemisphere. But not everything went according to plan.
