Can a Catholic priest deny someone from receiving the Holy Eucharist while in the communion line? Well, this is the scene that took place in a Denver, CO church when an 81 year old cradle Catholic woman was denied from receiving the body of Christ while wearing a rainbow mask. A mask showing solidarity for the LGBTQ community, and a defiant stand in quiet protest of the recent firing of the local Catholic elementary school teacher.

Should the Church take a stand in saying who may or may not receive communion? Does protesting and standing up for one's personal beliefs have a place during the mass? What would you do in this situation?
