The younger generation is at the helm of keeping this tradition booming. The Mass of Ages can not and will never be silenced. And that's not to say the Novus Ordo is invalid. Let's not make those claims. It can be celebrated reverently.
But I look at it like this as a cradle Catholic... The liturgy I grew up with was steeped in tradition, reverence, and respect for the most Holy Eucharist. Walking into the sanctuary was other worldly. What they call the "smells and the bells" are not throwaway relics of a liturgy of ole...
These sacramentals have meaning. They are deeply symbolic. They make your entire 5 senses a part of the worship of God as we are commanded to do with ALL of our bodies in 1 Cor 6.
70% of Catholics do NOT believe in the presence in the Eucharist. This is not ok.
Deep reverence and understanding of the sacredness of liturgy is paramount to faith. The TLM, to me, provides a level of intimacy with the Lord that is there for when you're ready to go "Super Saiyan" in faith (Dragon Ball-Z reference there).
