as posted by the channelWhen we embark on our faith journey, it can sometimes feel isolating. But let me tell you about the incredible power of walking this journey together. In my latest YouTube video, I'm taking you into the gym w/ me & talking about how the Olympics and its athletes can inspire our faith journey. And one of the things we can consider is teamwork. Who is our spiritual tribe in Christ?
I've been blessed to grow in my faith alongside amazing friends who are all devoted Catholics. We attend mass regularly, pray the rosary, share meals, and truly bond over our faith. I met these wonderful people through different ministries at my church and others, through RCIA as a sponsor, and our circle just kept growing. We do book clubs, attend adoration and communion at various parishes, and support each other in every aspect of our spiritual lives.
This community has challenged me to strive for Christ with an army of other warriors in the Church Militant beside me. It's essential for everyone to try and cultivate such relationships. It can be hard, but by being active in your parish, visiting different parishes, and starting or joining ministries and groups, you can attract people who will become your greatest support in your walk of faith.
Remember, we are stronger together. 'For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. (Romans 12:4-5)
