0:57Now PlayingWatching my city face devastation during the recent wildfires has been one of the most sobering experiences of my life. Seeing homes lost, lives uprooted, and communities forever changed, both in person and on the news, made me take a step back and reflect. It forced me to confront something deeper within myself: doubt.
Doubt about my place in this world. Doubt about God’s plan when life feels chaotic. Doubt about how to move forward when everything around you seems uncertain.
But here’s what I’ve come to realize: doubt doesn’t have to stop us. It doesn’t mean we’re failing in our faith. In fact, doubt can be the very thing that draws us closer to Christ. It’s not the end of the story—it’s the beginning of something so much deeper.
When we bring our doubt to Christ, when we invite Him into our mess, it becomes a stepping stone to hope. A hope that anchors us, that holds us steady in the storms, and that reminds us of His unshakable love.
Living in hope isn’t about ignoring the pain or pretending the struggles don’t exist. It’s about choosing to trust that God is working, even when we can’t see it. It’s about fixing our eyes on Him, not the waves crashing around us.
In the face of uncertainty, hope calls us to something greater. It calls us to aspire to the infinite—to the love of God that transforms everything. That’s what this journey has taught me.
If you’ve ever felt stuck in doubt, overwhelmed by life, or unsure of your next step, I want you to know you’re not alone. Hope is still there, waiting for you.
