YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThis week’s guest is Adam Chapman. A good friend and mentor in many ways, Adam’s hustle really inspires me. He’s the founder and owner of Pad Pal, a driveway sealing, gutter-cleaning, window washing service here in Ottawa. His business is absolutely CRUSHING now, but it wasn’t always sunshine and roses for Adam.
Growing up playing hockey, he eventually found himself playing major junior in the CHL, and planned on playing pro hockey as long as he could. Unfortunately, Adam suffered a really bad concussion which pivoted his hockey ambitions. He then started playing at Carleton University where he found a mentor and began taking serious interest in business.
For anybody who’s been interested in what it takes to start your own business, some INCREDIBLE & ACTIONABLE insights were dropped in our podcast today. We also talk about the relationship between money and mindset, we talk about scaling and building systems to remove yourself from a business, as well what we want out of life and travel. Finally, we talked about why people generally don’t consider a quote unquote trades business not “sexy'' when in many cases it generates significantly more in sales.
I encourage you to follow Adam’s journey on social media @adamrchap and @padpalca. If you want to show even more support, please donate to the Toy Drive his company will be holding later this year.
