My first time going to California was only a few months ago. I went to Los Angeles with some friends to attend a @tonyrobbins conference

While there, we stayed in Santa Monica. Previous to this trip, I had only heard of the homeless crisis from friends and media. It didn’t take long to see it first-hand

It was myself on one-side of the street, 2 young women on the other, and a homeless man who was heading towards them. He screamed at them, ran towards them, and became abrasive. I had to rush over to put myself between him and these two women. I had to physically stick my arm out and push the man away, and thankfully as a big dude, that seemed like enough for him to leave and go somewhere else

I’m not mincing words when I say, I experienced an aggressive type of homelessness there. It’s a moral crisis that we’re all aware of, but this was the first time I had someone actually provide a reasonable solution

We go into this more on the episode with @jonslavet, but to me, this was one of the highlights of our conversation
