as posted by the channelI'm a HUGE fan of the God of War series and i nearly had a heart attack when i saw the demo at E3. Wtf happend? I don't know where they plan on taking the series with this complete overhaul but i don't know if i'm down for the ride.
So apparently Kratos has settled down with his new family and son, mother is either dead or absent from the story. What a shock. I feel like they've completely toned down his character due to the fact that he's now a 'family man' i suppose? Anyways, hopefully some drama ensues where the son gets kidnapped or killed and we get back the old kratos again.
The gameplay feels stiff and mechanical, something that's plagued some modern games. The camera has been closer to him, although doesn't do that much good since the action has been toned down to PG.
I can only hope they haven't ruined one of the greatest gaming characters of our time and especially for Sony. Would be a shame to see them kill the cash cow.
