30:38Now PlayingDuring the early morning hours of Friday, June 23, three San Antonio Police Department officers responded to the apartment of 46-year-old Melissa Perez, who appeared to be experiencing a mental health crisis.
Perez fled into her apartment, armed herself with a hammer, and as the three officers stood just outside her front door they shot and killed her.
Those three officers have now been charged with murder.
