Newly sworn-in US Attorney General Pam Bondi just announced a federal lawsuit against Illinois and Chicago over their sanctuary policies to harbor illegal migrants from federal immigration authorities, a clear shot across the bow of all the many sanctuary cities and states across the nation.
This is certainly a step—I would say a baby step--in the right direction by the Trump administration to deal with the 100 million or so illegal migrants infesting our country, but is it enough?
I say heck no. As the protest chant goes, what do we want? Real sanctuary accountability! When do we want it? Now!
I’m right there with this guy. For anybody asking if I’m regretting my vote for Trump, my only regret is that he’s not doing more, harder, faster.
And that’s especially true on the illegal migrant front.
Let’s talk about it.
