as posted by the channelPresident Trump's Department of Justice has just filed an Amicus brief with the US Supreme Court arguing strongly against Hawaii's "vampire rule" for concealed carry.
That "vampire rule" reverses the usual rule that a concealed carrier CAN carry a firearm onto private property unless told they CAN NOT do so, by imposing a legal requirement that a concealed carrier CAN NOT carry a firearm onto private property unless explicitly told that he CAN do so. The effect is to make concealed effectively unlawful everywhere.
The DOJ also urged the SCOTUS to take on more Second Amendment cases generally, in defense of American's civil right to keep and bear arms for lawful purposes.
