Unelected activist judges are at it again. The DC Circuit just blocked Trump from firing Fed Governor Lisa Cook — despite clear evidence of mortgage fraud and the Constitution’s explicit grant of removal power to the President.
Their claim? That Cook somehow has a “property right” in her job, as if she’s a baroness of American government. That’s not how Article II works. Principal officers serve at the pleasure of the President. They don’t get lifetime tenure. They don’t get royalty-style protections.
Judge Katzus — the lone Trump appointee on the panel — cut through the nonsense. He made it plain: misconduct, even before appointment, is still cause for removal. And no officer has a constitutional right to wield executive power against the will of the President. Period.
This case is now heading toward SCOTUS, where Trump has racked up win after win. And when the dust settles, Lisa Cook’s firing will almost certainly stand. The only question is how much damage she can do to America’s economy before the Court weighs in.
This is how the progressive bench tries to sabotage Trump’s presidency — twisting due process, ignoring constitutional precedent, and inventing “rights” for bureaucrats that don’t exist.
