SCOTUS Drives Stake Through 2A Vampire Rule!

Justice Samual Alito delivered a dagger-sharp stake through the heart of the so-called “Vampire Rule” enacted by Hawaii and other Progressive Fascist states in their desperate efforts to infringe Americans’ Second Amendment rights—joined by a sharp-eyed concurrence by Justice Amy Coney Barrett (joined by Thomas and Gorsuch) who noted the Democrats’ continued reliance on racist laws to justify their anti-2A arguments.

Under the Vampire Rule a person otherwise lawfully carrying a concealed firearm for lawful purposes was by default prohibited from entering shops open to the public unless they firsts secured affirmative permission from the shop owner—a “GUNS WELCOME!” sign out front. This reversed the long-standing default that lawful carry of firearms was permitted unless affirmatively prohibited—the common “NO GUNS!” signs.

The result of the Vampire Rule was a profound infringement of the Second Amendment and the ability of law-abiding Americans to lawfully carry arms for lawful purposes as they go about their lawful day.

All that ended yesterday!

The three SCRONES, of course, dissented, but notably Kagan refused to join the dissent authored by Jackson and joined by Sotomayor, instead writing her one single-page objection to this 2A victory.
