JD Vance sat down with Dana Bash from CNN and Dana Bash question JD Vance about calling out Tim Waltz's military service which JD Vance claims is a case of stolen valor, a federal crime. Dana Bash asks why JD Vance would question Tim Waltz's military service of 24 years but JD Vance claps back and claims Tim Waltz has open lied about what he did in the military for 15 years until JD Vance called him out on his stolen valor. JD Vance is a military veteran himself and believes Tim Waltz knowingly lied about his service and points this out to Dana Bash which makes it stolen valor. JD Vance also brings up the point that Tim Waltz's own unit and commanding officer have called out Tim Waltz's lies proving JD Vance was right about his stolen valor. Dana Bash tries to claim that Tim Waltz corrected the record and JD Vance quickly refuted by again pointing out they lied about it the whole time.
