However, without support from the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration he, like 18,000 others with developmental disabiliites, is stuck on a waiting list....for many years to come. He won't reach is full potential for an independent life and eventually his mother won't be able to meet his needs. Something has to be done to shorten the wait and reduce the DDA waiting list.
