What they fail to mention is white on white crime -- and the fact that the immediate threat to many blacks isn't black on black crime but, rather, being mistaken as a criminal by their neighbors or the police.
Oklahoma police shot and killed a man who was was fleeing after an undercover drug deal. He was subdued then "accidentally" shot by a 73 year old reserve sheriff. Officers then placed their knees on his neck and replied "f*ck your breath" when he informed him he couldn't breath.
