Jesus didn’t see the poor as a ministry checkbox—He said, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me.” In God’s Kingdom, the poor are not charity cases; they are Christ among us, co-heirs of divine promises, and the truest test of our faith. Capitalism, by contrast, relies on poverty and treats the vulnerable as disposable. This lesson exposes how charity without solidarity keeps systems intact and how Kingdom economics centers the poor in power and belonging.
