3:32Now PlayingThis week, regular guest, comedian, and labor organizer Nato Green () joins the show along with Joshua Kahn Russell () of The Wildfire Project (wildfireproject.org) () and Choose Democracy.
We really shouldn't be surprised by anything anymore, but although our senses may be irreparably dulled to moments like these, we still must acknowledge they've happened: Dianne Feinsten felt the need to express that Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation hearing was "one of the best set of hearings that [she's] participated in." Then she hugged Lindsey Graham—a deep, bipartisan, maskless embrace that truly defies logic. These stupid events have riled up quite a few lawmakers, as Sen. Feinstein is the most senior Dem on the Judiciary Committee (she's the oldest sitting senator, at 87) and if the Democrats take the Senate following the upcoming election, Feinstein would become chair of the committee. This now seems like an even more terrible idea than the terrible idea it was a week ago.
