Christina says that she thinks we’ve all had some inner crises and she doesn’t think we’re ready to put those to bed just yet, and that it might be difficult to simply re-enter society without some glitches. SPEAK FOR YOURSELF, CHRISTINA. WE’RE TOTALLY FINE. Totally fine over here, god.
Francesca agrees that the social fabric of society now looks less like the outside some lovely garment and looks more like if you turned a purse inside out and you saw exactly what was going on there: pen marks, crumbs, weird stains, maybe some gum, and so on. She also talks about our shared thoughts of beating the shit out of people these days, whereas most of us did not have such thoughts before.
Christina and Francesca discuss the need to sit with these feelings of not being okay, of wanting to throw someone’s lunch across the street for no reason or leap at them across a crowd and punch them for being a Covid-denier. It’s not great to do these things, but it is good to admit that you want to.
Robert thinks we should temporarily change some laws, and well, that might be it, to be honest.
