as posted by the channelIs Ketanji Brown Jackson qualified to be a Supreme Court Justice? Honestly, it’s an offensive question to ask the first Black Women ever nominated to sit on the high court. While in past nominations, Democrats have focused on the actual malicious and disqualifying actions of nominees.
Since Republicans don’t have any substantive critiques of her record, they’ve instead resorted to pure character assassination. They made arguments like her LSAT score was too low, and that she was too lenient with child predators (she wasn’t, though this is a common campaign tactic for Attorney General races on the state level). Republicans also claimed that she defended terrorists, as if people accused weren’t innocent until proven guilty, and that he job wasn’t to be a literal public defender.
