During this entire time, what have Democrats been doing to prepare for this onslaught? By the looks of things, not much. So now, hey’re going to start thinking about what they can do now that it’s already too late.
What we heard from Biden after Dobbs: the SCOTUS decision that destroyed a fundamental right to healthcare, which means we need to vote harder to make everything better, somehow. Democrats are holding Americans hostage unless they pay their ransom, “Hey voters, we know that you turned out in record numbers to ensure we won Georgia Senate seats and kept control of the house in 2020? Yeah, that wasn’t enough and you’re going to have to try harder. Also, please send me $15 or I’ll let the GOP take more of your rights away.”
It’d be different to see Democrats try and fail to do stuff, but the appetite for any direct action that isn’t a donor solicitation is completely lacking. After this complete failure of leadership, there should be no way that Biden runs for president again. We need leadership, not bad prose.
