Why George Santos is the BEST Distraction

Is George Santos the most interesting man alive? If you believe all the lies he has told about himself, you’d be forgiven for thinking so. If you’ve followed along as the press has slowly publicized many of the insane antics (fraud) he’s been up to over the years, you’d also be forgiven for thinking him insanely interesting.

Just this month, the House Ethics Committee announced an ethics investigation into the Staten Island Congressmen slash Leonardo DiCaprio in “Catch me if you can”. In congress, they’re annoyed that everyone is paying attention to him and not to them, but given the absolute absurdity and total lack of direction that is Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s House, it’s honestly the only thing to talk about besides the potential imminent default of the world’s largest and most powerful government.

Given the very narrow margins in the House, between Democrats and Republicans, it does seem unlikely that Republicans would remove Santos from office and risk the seat falling into the hands of a Democrat, further narrowing an already slim majority. That leaves us to slowly comb through the miles long accounting of Santos’ fraudulent existence.
