Meet Maebe A. Girl, since 2019 she’s served as on the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council in Los Angeles. Now, she’s running for Congress to not only be the first drag queen elected but be a true progressive for California's 30th District, currently represented by Adam Schiff.
Maebe not only stands for LGBTQ rights but also supports Medicare For All, reproductive justice, alleviating homelessness, and advocating against war. In this interview Maebe chats with Francesca about getting big money out of politics, put people over profits, and standing in solidarity with our trans siblings.
