as posted by the channelThe United States has now vetoed a U.N. resolution condemning violence against all civilians in the Israel-Hamas war.
Last week, Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallan ordered a “complete siege” of the Gaza Strip and said “we are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly,” about the Palestinians they would drop bombs on. Since Oct 7th, the Gaza Health Ministry says nearly 3,500 people have been killed in Gaza and more than 12,000 wounded.
In the Israel Defense Force, there’s an open admission of targeting civilians. “It is an entire nation out there that is responsible,” said Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Friday. “It is not true this rhetoric about civilians not being aware, not involved. It’s absolutely not true. They could have risen up. They could have fought against that evil regime which took over Gaza in a coup d’etat.”
Meanwhile civilians in Gaza are not only being attack by air but also without water and electricity for much of the day as Israel attempts to starve them out of their land. One child is killed every 15 minutes in the Israeli bombings of Gaza.
“We are witnessing a genocide in real time,” a spokesperson for The Defense for Children International – Palestine (DCIP) said.
