Maybe! The question is whether that would be harmful for Biden or Trump. According to RFK himself, he says “my intention is to spoil it for both of them.”
According to a NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll, as a third-party candidate, Kennedy would help boost Biden's lead over Trump by seven points. Though he’d certainly take away votes from Biden, he perhaps would make a bigger dent in Trump’s loyal base, with his antivax and conspiratorial beliefs and policies.
In that same poll, Kennedy holds the support of 16 percent of voters. Who are these people? We talked to Derek Beres and Julian Walker of the Conspirituality Podcast to find out. We asked them about the growing movement of science-skeptics and where the alt-health movement blends into the alt-right.
