College Students Are Being Doxxed For Supporting Palestine

Have you ever heard of Canary Mission?

Canary Mission is a website which promotes itself as a group working to end anti-Semitism. In reality, it’s a right wing doxxing tool that is used to blacklist pro-Palestine activists, especially students and professors.

Canary Mission is just one component of the campus “free speech” ecosystem, which works to deter student activism by labeling anti-occupation voices as anti-Semitic.

Since the Hamas attack on Israel and the subsequent bombing of Gaza, both activism on campus and the reaction to it have only ramped up. For example, at Columbia University, a “doxxing truck” has been making appearances at and around the school. It displays photos and full names of student activists alongside the text “Columbia’s Leading Antisemites.”

Smear campaigns like this truck or Canary Mission function to punish and strike fear and are the real “cancel culture.”
