Last week, previously undisclosed bank records and other documents were released by congressional investigators which showed George Santos’s congressional campaign wiring him $20,000. He spent $6,000 on designer sneakers, hundreds at a casino, and dropped a rack on rent.
Those were just a handful of the questionable transactions that compulsive liar Congressman spent. For years, George Santos collected tens of thousands of dollars or more from campaign contributions and spent them without telling donors or the Federal Election Commission. Santos was already charged with a 23-count federal indictment, which alleged he stole from donors. Still, this latest report which included hilarious texts and emails including the now infamous charges for Botox and Only Fans has brought new attention to the fraudster.
This Ethics Committee report, which essentially shows how extremely Santos stole from his campaign, caused many congresspeople who previously defended Santos to change their tune and consider kicking him out before 2024.
Santos's response to the possibility of an expulsion vote this week? “I don’t care.”
