51:51Now PlayingOnce again I was on Piers Morgan Uncensored, now talking about trans athletes. But let's be more specific: a trans teenager in Oregon who won her 200 meter race to become the state champion in that competition. After which she was loudly booed by the crowd. Somehow we're supposed to care about this teen winning and also glom onto the hate? Hard pass.
Piers and other panelists celebrated the booing of a sophomore student because she was trans and they think she's "eroding women's sports." Same tired line that sadly many agree with.
I make the case that we must support trans people and athletes no matter what, which truly triggers Piers and the rest.
Let's remember that this teen did *lose* the 400 meter race to the defending champion, a cis girl, but no one is talking about that.
Have a listen to my case, be respectful in the comments or get booted, and if you have time and a Hulu subscription there's a great documentary about trans athletes from VICE:
