How Do We Actually Build Third Party Power (Spoiler, It’s Not Jill Stein)

There is a third party to support in the United States, and its name is the Working Families Party (WFP). If you live in the North Eastern U.S., or on the West Coast, it might be something you see on the ballot each election, but if you don’t know much about it, this is a good place to start. This week, the last week before the election, we were joined by the national director of the Working Families Party, Maurice Mitchell.

WFP is working to support progressive causes, workers, and candidates throughout the country each and every election. The party and its organizers are supporting Kamala in this election, but only as a way to create opportunities to pressure those in power, and have better terrain to organize on.
