American fascists are celebrating after their big win.
After Donald Trump won on Tuesday, MAGA Republicans and other weirdos have wasted no time making women, LGBT people, immigrants and people of color know they are not welcome in Trump’s America. On Wednesday, after Trump’s victory Matt Walsh wrote on X: “Now that the election is over I think we can finally say that yeah actually Project 2025 is the agenda. Lol,” which was then amplified by Steven Bannon and other conservatives who are practically frothing at the mouth just thinking about all the scores they can settle with their perceived political enemies.
Just this week, students and Black Americans also began receiving texts from unknown numbers telling them that they should report to the nearest plantation to pick cotton or work in the house. “Your body, my choice” and outright threats have become common on the platform formerly known as Twitter. This isn’t just some “extreme” wing of the right, this is Trump’s base through and through.
