The Heritage Foundation’s ghoulish agenda includes the complete dismantling of federally funded programs like SNAP food benefits, pell grants, cancer research, Meals on Wheels, Medicaid and more. Now, in real time, we are seeing these plans begin as the Office of Management and Budget released a cringey two-page memo ordering a “temporary pause” on all funding to these programs and more. All of these programs directly benefit the most vulnerable people in our society; low-income mothers, children and the disabled. Which of course means these “Christian” Nationalists want to see it destroyed!
To make this disgusting situation even more gross, the cited reason for the pause in the OMB memo was to combat, “Marxist equity, transgenderism, and green new deal social engineering policies”. There truly is no low the Republicans won’t sink to, and ultimately this is all to further fund tax breaks for the richest people in this country.
Somehow all of this has caught mainstream Democrats flat footed. Apparently they didn’t believe Trump when he said he was going to do all of these things? With no true pushback from the Dems, it’s no wonder they lost the White House in 2024. And it’s the most vulnerable people in this country who will have to suffer the consequences.
