While the young actress is still new to Hollywood, Rachel Zegler has been the target of hate on the internet from the jump. In her breakout role as Maria in the 2021 West Side Story remake, the half Colombian actress was criticized for being ‘too white’ to play the part. Despite the vitriol, the movie was nominated for 7 Academy Awards… and yet somehow, Zegler never received an invite to the Oscars! Must have been lost in the mail.
Fast forward to today, and now Rachel is getting a bunch of hate playing Snow White in Disney’s most recent live action remake. But get this, now the internet is mad that she isn’t ‘white enough’ to play the character. Which is it? Too white or not white enough? There is no winning with these people.
To top it all off, the Zionist are pissed at her too. She had the gall to say, “and always remember, free palestine,” on her social media. She later went on to say, “I can’t watch children die… I don’t think that should be a hot take.” You heard it here first, Rachel supports Hamas. It’s absolutely wild that being anti-genocide will get you blacklisted, but a former IDF soldier Gal Gadot is also starting in this film, and crickets!
