Kilmar’s story has garnered massive media attention. It seems like most people understand the gravity of the situation, and have demanded Garcia’s return. Yes somehow, certain Democrats have managed to be completely wrong on this.
Enter our favorite centrist/right-wing apologist governor, Gavin Newsom. This guy’s been on a historic losing streak with his newfound tactic of appeasement, and now he’s at sea again. Instead of focusing on the students and immigratns being swept up by Trump’s illegal immigration policies, Newsom has launched a lawsuit against the Trump regime over their unilateral tariffs. That’s fine enough but he’s now saying that the immigration issue is a “distraction.”
He called it a divisive issue, and said that Democrats were falling into the Republicans trap. Maybe Gav should tell that to the old white conservatives who showed up to Chuck Grassley’s town hall in Iowa, demanding Garcia be brought home!
