While we have all rightly had our attention focused on what is happening in Gaza, Israel has been taking advantage of this when it comes to the West Bank. Guys like Israeli finance minister Bezalel Smotrich changed the laws in the West Bank, allowing the settlers to basically steal whatever land they want from the Palestinians. Not only that, settlers have been getting away with actual murder.
Awdah Hathaleen, one of the filmmakers behind the Oscar winning documentary, “No Other Land” was shot and killed by an Israeli settler in the West Bank. Even American citizens have been killed by settlers. Sayfollah Musallet was beaten to death by settlers, who prevented ambulances from reaching him. And all of this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the crimes being committed against Palestinians in the West Bank…
