MAGA Hates Protests At Home, Loves Them In Iran?

In a completely hypocritical, yet unshocking fashion, MAGA is simultaneously calling ICE protesters terrorists and supporting the protests against the Iranian government. Of course, they only support the protests to further their own interests.

Massive protests have erupted throughout Iran, and the regime is violently cracking down as a result. Iran’s currency is in collapse, thanks in large part to U.S. sanctions, and no one is more thrilled about this than America and Israel. Donald Trump cancelled recent meets that were scheduled with Iranian officials, and told the protesters that “help is on its way”. Oh great, because U.S. military intervention in the Middle East has been so helpful in the past!

Then you have warhawk Lindsey Graham weighing on the situation. He said, “We need to end this for the good people of Iran, and for our own selves, and the people of Israel.” Something tells me it’s only the “our own selves, and the people of Israel” that Lindsey cares about. And in all of this talk of regime change, nobody is actually talking about what the people of Iran actually want: freedom from an oppressive regime and freedom from Western imperialism.
