It’s no secret that Gen Z men, in general, have been more conservative compared to Millennials. But this new study that surveyed 29 different countries paints a pretty depressing picture. According to the study, a third of Gen Z men and boys believe that the man should have the final word on important decisions. Clearly words spoken by men who have never actually been in a relationship.
Where is this mindset coming from? Maybe it’s partly the backlash to Me Too, because heaven forbid powerful abusers were held the tiniest bit accountable. Could it be the rise of the manosphere that is indoctrinating these young men into more misogynist world views? Or maybe we can just blame the worst generation, Gen X, for raising these little freaks.
