as posted by the channelThe United States is facing one of the worst economic crises it’s seen in a long time. While most of us are struggling to survive, the Trump regime is $1.8 billion of our tax dollars to create a slush fund for January 6ers?
You may remember that President Trump was suing the IRS for leaked tax return information from the 2022 raid of Mar-a-Lago. That’s right, a sitting president was suing his own government to get $10 billion in taxpayer money given to him. Well he decided to drop that lawsuit, what a relief right? Not so fast! The suit is being dropped in exchange for creating a $1.8 fund controlled by the Justice Department. This fund will be used to create a, “systematic process to hear and redress claims of others who suffered weaponization and lawfare.”
In a recent press conference, Vice President J.D. Vance was asked if this fund could be used to pay January 6ers. He responded, “If we think that somebody was unfairly prosecuted and deserves just compensation, then that's what this fund is going to exist to provide.” So that’s a yes. Great, I guess we can skip buying groceries this week so that the QAnon Shaman can get a government payout.
