Travis interviews Former Republican Congressman Matt Salmon about his 2022 campaign for governor and his mission to win the prize that eluded him 20 years ago in one of Arizona’s closest gubernatorial elections.

Matt’s running for governor “to ensure that Arizona remains guided by the successful, conservative principles that have made it the greatest place to live, work and raise a family.”

Raised in Tempe, Matt attended public schools, graduated from Arizona State University, and later earned a master’s degree from Brigham Young University. After completing his education, he worked as an executive with a major telecommunications firm in Arizona. He later served in both the Arizona Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives where he earned a reputation for standing on principle and challenging the status quo, ultimately becoming a co-founder of the conservative House Freedom Caucus.
