On The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show, Buck Sexton weighed in on the possibility of Zohran Mamdani winning the NYC mayoral race. “What he wants to do is bad,” Buck said, referring to Mamdani’s far-left platform, “but he may be incapable of doing it.”

Buck argued that while Mamdani’s agenda leans heavily into socialist and communist ideals, the political and legal realities of governing may prevent him from enacting most of it. He called it a “silver lining” for conservatives—proof that even if the far left wins elections, their plans often collapse under scrutiny and resistance.
