When I first started learning about Marxism, capitalism, and class struggle, I realized how much we’ve been conditioned to think that making money = success, instead of questioning who really owns the means of production. Just like gumbo, class solidarity requires different ingredients working together—so why do we keep falling for the illusion of the middle class instead of recognizing who really benefits from our labor?
