"MyPillow founder Mike Lindell is reportedly holding a telethon to raise money for a new lawyer after his legal representatives recently declared he owed millions in fees.
Lindell, who became a business magnate thanks to MyPillow, a pillow filled with interlocking pieces of shredded foam, has been a loyal Donald Trump supporter and adviser for years. Lindell was also one of the main people financing the former president's attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
The pillow magnate is now facing three defamation cases for spreading lies about the 2020 presidential election, saying that the process was rigged and that fraud was committed. Such claims of electoral fraud have been repeatedly rejected in court and by independent election experts. Legal processes have left Lindell on the brink of bankruptcy, leading him to say that he "lost everything, every dime.""
