Greene, the author of the book 'MTG', while trying to deliver a racially neutral comment, made a stance that indirectly linked Black people with laziness.
What did Marjorie Taylor Greene say?
Greene, while citing a 2017 opinion piece by American jurist Ekow N. Yankah published in The New York Times, talked about racism.
The 49-year-old Congresswoman read out the sentence "Likewise, despite centuries of exclusion and robust evidence of continuing racism, minority underemployment is often couched in the language of bad choices and personal responsibility" from the opinion piece titled, "Can My Children Be Friends With White People?""
