E. Jean Carroll’s Lawyer Says Client ‘Really Hoped’ $83 Million Would ‘Be Enough To Convince’ Trump To Keep ‘Name out of His Mouth
"E. Jean Carroll’s attorney Shawn Crowley responded to former President Donald Trump’s mention of her client last week, telling MSNBC that she had hoped “$83 million would maybe be enough to convince him to keep E. Jean Carroll’s name out of his mouth.”
During an interview with Crowley on Monday, MSNBC host and former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said, “Over the weekend, it seemed like Trump kind of came awfully – I’m not a lawyer – but he came awfully close to defaming your client again.”
Psaki then played a clip of Trump saying, “Who the hell is she? Who is the woman?” in reference to Carroll over the weekend."
