‘Like Nagasaki And Hiroshima!’ Republican Congressman Says To ‘Get It Over Quick’ in Gaza At Town Hall
"Republican Rep. Tim Walberg called for the U.S. treat Gaza “like Nagasaki and Hiroshima” in shocking comments caught on video at a recent constituent event in Dundee, Michigan.
A viral video posted to YouTube and social media recorded by a Michigan activist showed the congressman making the pronouncement and insisting that the U.S. should not be spending a “dime” on humanitarian aid.
After being asked about spending in Gaza by a member of the audience at the event, characterized by some as a private town hall, Walberg said that we should not be spending money in Gaza, and any money sent to the region should go to support “our greatest ally, arguably, anywhere in the world.”"
