"Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary claimed university protestors aren’t considering how the demonstrations will affect their job prospects.
Since Columbia University students gathered on campus two weeks ago, students around the country have followed suit to protest Israel’s war in Gaza. On Wednesday, O’Leary appeared on Laura Coates Live to explain the potential risks to their careers.
“What I don’t think we are talking enough about is a tragedy occurring at the individual level right now,” he said. “When these protests occurred in the past — and, by the way, there have been student protests since America was formed and we allow free speech and protests have been part of it… Most of those were shot on 16-millimeter film — majority. Eighty, 90% of it was high-grainy. You can’t really get any resolution; but unfortunately, for these participants in the last few weeks, that’s not the case."
