"Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is moving forward with a vote on whether to remove Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) from his position. The move elicited loud boos from her colleagues.
Shortly after, the House voted to kill her resolution.
Greene filed a motion to vacate the chair in March, which would have entitled her to call for a vote of the House on whether to remove Johnson. Although the Georgia lawmaker declined to move forward at the time, on Wednesday she called for a vote."
