"Republican Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville was lambasted for suggesting the jurors in former Republican President Donald Trump's election interference trial may not be American citizens.
Trump's former lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, testified this week about his involvement in falsifying business records relating to the $130,000 Trump paid before the 2016 presidential election to silence adult film star Stormy Daniels, who alleged she had a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006.
Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records with the intent of concealing the hush money payment to benefit his campaign by covering up a potentially damaging story ahead of the election."
