Fox’s Bill Melugin Reports Border Crossings Have ‘Dropped Significantly’ Since Biden’s Executive Order
"No one has covered the sharp increase in illegal border crossings under President Joe Biden more comprehensively than Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, who deserves credit for his dedication to bringing this story to light. His report that border crossing numbers have “dropped significantly” since Biden’s executive order went into effect is noteworthy, and so too is his criticism that followed shortly after.
Melugin was filing a report for Fox & Friends at 6 AM Thursday when, after he wrapped, Brian Kilmeade asked for his insights into the southern border following the executive order that went into effect roughly three weeks ago, in the context of the presidential debate set to tip off later this evening.
“The numbers have dropped significantly since that executive order went into effect in early June,” Melugin replied, but not before raising a reasonably cynical point about the timing of Biden’s action."
