RNC Passes Radical 20Point Platform
"Today, the Republican National Committee passed a 20-point platform that will Donald Trump is expected to support should he win in November. The platform mimics much of the language Donald Trump has been saying on the campaign trail, and, upon closer look, is merely a recitation of a typical Trump campaign speech:
One of the top agenda items for Republicans is launching the largest deportation operation in American history. In addition, the RNC lists uniting the country "by bringing it to new record levels of success" as a top priority, although does not add any substance as to what that means.
In a lot of ways, the new RNC platform merely lays out bullet points for a Project 2025-like agenda. For example, bullet 9 calls for the ending of the "weaponization of government against the American people." Although the platform does not define what that means, the phrasing mimics much of what Trump has said when he attacks federal law enforcement agencies for his personal grievances. "
