Bannon Heading to Trial for Scamming Trump Supporters
"A Manhattan, NY judge ruled today that after Steve Bannon's release from prison after serving his sentence for Contempt of Congress, the former Trump chief strategist will have to go to trial in New York for his 'We Build the Wall' scam.
Bannon was previously charged by the Department of Justice for his involvement in the scam, but was pardoned by Trump. The state of New York then picked up the prosecution of the case, charging Bannon with money laundering, conspiracy and fraud. If convicted, he faces a significant prison sentence.
The Svengali of the Deplorables lasted a grand total of 7 months in the Trump White House, before Trump bragged on twitter that "Sloppy Steve" was fired and begged for his job "like a dog." Bannon constantly feuded with Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner, and Javanka won that battle."
